An interesting reverse spelling error

Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. As (Copper, 24 mm, 11.40 g, 4 h), Lugdunum, 15-10 BC. CAESAR PONT MAX Laureate head of Augustus to right; on his neck, countermark of CA. Rev. ROM E (sic!) AVG Front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels and stylized figures; altar flanked by columns surmounted by statues of Victory standing vis-à-vis, each holding palm frond in her right hand and wreath in her left. BMC 550. Cohen 240. RIC 230. An attractive piece with an interesting reverse spelling error. Very fine.
